Garlic, add it to your diet. You might prevent cancer!


Did you know garlic isn’t just the most delicious thing you can cook with, 😉  it’s also one of the most widely used holistic cancer prevention herbs!? It has been used by humans for almost 5000 years for many different medicinal purposes. To name just a few; to treat bronchitis, hypertension (high blood pressure), TB (tuberculosis), liver disorders, dysentery, flatulence, colic, intestinal worms, rheumatism, diabetes, and fevers.

I have known for most of my adult life that it has antibacterial properties. I mean, that is after-all why I was taught by my Grandma to use it for ear infections, right? But the more I have learned over the years, the more important I have found it to be for everyone to add it to their diets and even supplement when possible.

The most exciting recent research is the discovery that garlic can kill brain cancer cells. This is just more evidence of the powers of phytonutrients on our cells! Scientists at the Medical University of South Carolina reported in the journal Cancer that three pure organo-sulfur compounds from garlic – DAS, DADS and DATS – “demonstrated efficacy in eradicating brain cancer cells”.
